Election
Jessica Andino is running for the Johnson County Board of Supervisors in the upcoming November 2026 election for District 2 for a two-year term.
Election Dates:
Primary Election (if required): 2 June 2026
General Election: 3 November 2026
Under Senate File 75 (passed in 2025), Johnson County will now elect County Supervisors by district instead of at-large. All five supervisor seats will be on the 2026 Primary & General Election ballots.
The new district map was prepared by the Legislative Services Agency. It was approved by the Johnson County Board of Supervisors on December 23, 2025 and received formal approval from the Iowa Secretary of State on January 7, 2026.
To return to staggered four-year terms in 2028, a random drawing occurred on January 14, 2026 at the Board of Supervisors Meeting by the Johnson County Auditor. District 2 was determined to be a two-year term (serving January 2027 through December 2028).
Candidates must live in the district they are running in, and voters will only vote for the supervisor representing their district.
